Tomodachi Collection ha demostrado ser imbatible, pues ni Pokémon ha podido impedir que se convierta, nuevamente, en el título más comprado en Japón.
El único título nuevo que aparece en la lista de los 10 juegos más vendidos en Japón fue Halo 2: ODST en 3er. puesto, y ambas versiones de Pokémon y estas seguidas muy de cerca por Tales of Vesperia para PS3, mientras que Wii Sports Resort y Dragon Quest IX quedaron en 6to y 8vo puestos.
